Education: Specialises in Mechanical Engineering from a good recognized university.

Responsibilities - 

· Must have the ability to manage the total production of the company.

· Must have the complete knowledge of metal fabrication, especially pipe fabrication. 

· A production manager is responsible for managing the manufacturing of equipment, overseeing the production process, ensuring quality, and managing the workforce and ensuring that the process runs smoothly. 

· Should be well conversant with robotic welding, laser cutting and CNC mechanics.

· Also had handled the working of robotic welding and designing its jigs and fixtures.

· Must be from the metal Fabrication industries

· They should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be able to comprehend complex operations.

· Production planning: Plan and prioritize operations to meet production goals and minimize delays. 

· Managing staff - Delegating tasks to employees based on their skill sets, and scheduling shifts.

· Supervise and motivate production staff, and provide guidance and support to achieve production goals. 

· Inventory and materials: Manage inventory, order materials, and allocate resources effectively. 

· Communication: Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management. 

· Training: Develop or improve the training program. 

· Production efficiency: Continuously assess and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity programs. 

· Maintaining quality - Ensuring that the team follows quality standards and specifications, and solving problems that might compromise product quality.

· Monitoring efficiency - Checking production output against specifications, and preparing reports on performance and progress 

· Optimizing processes - Collaborating with other departments to optimize production processes, and detecting issues in efficiency and suggesting improvements 

· Ensuring safety - Implementing health and safety procedures, conducting safety inspections, and developing safety.
