Role Summary

The Graduate Engineer Trainee will support automation development, AI-enabled operations, and image data management activities. The role involves developing and maintaining automation scripts, supporting Azure-based solutions, leveraging GenAI and Copilot for productivity, and assisting with image data processing and quality management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts using Python or Java.
  • Own and support existing automation solutions and workflows.
  • Build and maintain end-to-end automation pipelines and data processing jobs.
  • Use GenAI and GitHub Copilot for code generation, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor automation jobs and resolve operational issues.
  • Manage, filter, and cleanse large image datasets.
  • Support image quality review and data validation activities.
  • Work with Azure services for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Prepare technical documentation and status.
  • Collaborate with project teams to improve operational efficiency through automation.

Prerequisites

  • B.Tech / B.E. (Computer Science or IT), MCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science), or M.Sc. (Computer Science).
  • Strong programming skills in Python or Java.
  • Knowledge of Generative AI and GitHub Copilot for software development.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
  • Good understanding of automation, scripting, and software development concepts.
  • Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git, or REST APIs.
  • Exposure to AI/ML, image processing, or data annotation projects.
  • Basic Linux and database knowledge.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering and LLM-based solutions.

Specialization Description

General IT Applications Development includes analysis, programming, and configuration of end user applications and/or systems software including:

  • Analyzing detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications for the application
  • Coding internally developed applications and/or configuring commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using programming, scripting, and database languages
  • Supporting application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements
