Job Title: Field Sales Officer - Lubricant Industry
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Field Sales Officer to join our team in the lubricant industry. The Field Sales Officer will be responsible for generating leads, building client relationships, and driving sales of lubricant products in assigned territories. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of sales techniques, and a passion for exceeding targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospect and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals to expand the customer base in designated territories.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
3. Conduct regular visits to clients' locations to understand their lubricant needs, provide product information, and offer solutions tailored to their requirements.
4. Present and demonstrate lubricant products effectively, highlighting features, benefits, and value propositions to potential customers.
5. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale with clients to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring profitability.
6. Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and customer service to coordinate efforts and ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, competitor activities, and product developments to identify opportunities and threats.
8. Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and plans detailing activities, pipelines, and targets achievement for management review.
9. Continuously strive to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company.
Requirements:
1. Any 12th/ degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
2. Proven track record of success in field sales, preferably in the lubricant industry or related field.
3. Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
5. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
6. Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
8. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience working in the lubricant industry or a related field.
2. Technical knowledge of lubricant products and applications.
3. Familiarity with different sales techniques and strategies.
