Job Description
Job Title: Fabric Checker
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Fabric Checker with good knowledge of fabrics and experience in fabric inspection and quality checking. The candidate should be capable of preparing inspection reports as per the Four Point System and conducting fabric inspections, including vendor site visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check and inspect fabric for quality and defects.
- Have good knowledge of different types of fabrics.
- Prepare fabric inspection reports using the Four Point System.
- Conduct fabric quality checks as per required standards.
- Knowledge of Plush Fabric is preferred.
- Visit vendor sites for fabric inspection and quality checking.
- Identify and report fabric-related quality issues.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding fabric quality and inspection observations.
Required Skills:
- Good Fabric Knowledge.
- Knowledge of Fabric Inspection and Quality Checking.
- Knowledge of the Four Point System for fabric inspection.
- Knowledge of Plush Fabric is preferred.
- Willingness to travel for Vendor Site Visits.
- Good observation and reporting skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in Fabric Checking / Fabric Inspection / Quality will be preferred.
- Experience with Plush Fabric will be an added advantage.
