Electrician

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and control systems.

Inspect electrical systems, circuits, and components to identify hazards, defects, or maintenance requirements.

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and equipment malfunctions.

Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.

Install and maintain lighting systems, switchgear, motors, generators, transformers, and distribution panels.

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using appropriate testing devices.

Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures.

Respond to emergency breakdowns and carry out repairs in a timely manner.

Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.

Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, contractors, and other maintenance personnel as required.

Ensure proper housekeeping of work areas and safe handling of tools and equipment.
