Job Description
Job Description – Commis 1 (Continental Cuisine)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Continental dishes as per standard recipes and quality standards.
- Assist the CDP/Sous Chef in daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and consistency of food.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of food ingredients.
- Minimize food wastage and support efficient kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned workstation.
- Coordinate effectively with the kitchen team during service.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Continental/Western cuisine.
- Good knowledge of basic Continental cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn.
