Job Overview

We are looking for a smart and internet-savvy individual who can research trending topics and gather high-quality content assets for our video production team.

The role mainly involves finding:

• Trending news topics
• Relevant videos, clips, and images
• Internet references and source materials
• Social media trends and viral content

You will work closely with the video editor and guide them on:

• What type of video needs to be created
• The editing style and tone required
• Which clips and visuals are important
• The overall flow and storytelling angle of the video

Responsibilities

• Research trending and viral topics from the internet
• Collect photos, videos, clips, references, and supporting assets for content production
• Coordinate with the video editor and clearly explain the required video style and structure
• Monitor trends across YouTube, Instagram, X, Reddit, and other platforms
• Suggest viral angles, hooks, and thumbnail ideas
• Help organize content and references for fast video production
• Stay updated with current affairs, social media trends, and audience interests

Requirements

• Strong understanding of internet culture and social media trends
• Active consumer of YouTube, Instagram Reels, and viral content
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Creative mindset with strong research ability
• Basic understanding of video editing workflows and content creation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced media environment

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of meme culture and viral formats
• Basic Canva or Photoshop knowledge
