Job Description: Admission Counsellor – WP Certification Courses

Role: Admission Counsellor / Senior Admission CounsellorLocation: Noida Experience: 1–5 years in EdTech sales, academic counselling, inside sales, or admissionsEmployment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

We are looking for a target-driven Admission Counsellor to guide working professionals and learners in choosing the right WPcertification programs. The role requires strong communication, consultative selling, learner profiling, follow-ups, and admission closures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Counsel prospective learners over calls/video calls for WP certification programs.
  • Understand learner profile, career goals, experience, budget, and upskilling needs.
  • Recommend suitable programs based on career objectives.
  • Explain program details, eligibility, curriculum, outcomes, fees, scholarships, and career support.
  • Handle objections related to fees, ROI, time commitment, placements, and program fit.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups and update lead status in CRM.
  • Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
  • Ensure proper documentation and smooth enrolment process.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and convincing skills.
  • Consultative counselling approach.
  • Good understanding of online education/upskilling market.
  • Ability to explain management, AI, data, tech, and certification programs.
  • Strong follow-up discipline and CRM hygiene.
  • Target-oriented mindset.

Preferred Background

  • EdTech sales/admission counselling experience.
  • Experience selling certification, MBA, data science, AI/ML, digital marketing, or executive education programs.
  • Candidates from Scaler, Simplilearn, Great Learning, Jaro, Hero Vired, Imarticus, Intellipaat, Edureka, TimesPro, Aimlay, Coding Ninjas, NIIT,  etc.

Ideal Candidate

Someone who can move beyond basic calling and do proper profiling, need mapping, program pitching, objection handling, urgency creation, and closure.
