Job Description
An Assistant Sales Manager supports the Sales Manager by overseeing daily sales operations, managing sales representatives, tracking performance targets, and helping drive revenue growth. |
Key Responsibilities
Team Supervision: Train, mentor, and monitor sales staff, schedule shifts, and step in as manager during the Sales Manager's absence
Sales & Revenue Tracking: Break down macro sales targets into individual quotas, monitor daily or monthly metrics, and help close critical deals
Customer & Lead Management: Oversee CRM software (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho), handle escalated customer complaints, and nurture key accounts.
Operations & Reporting: Analyze market trends, maintain proper inventory or stock levels, and prepare sales performance reports for senior leadership.
