Account Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure robust fiscal management of our export trading business. In this role, you will manage foreign exchange transactions, international trade compliance, letters of credit, and general corporate accounting. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, deeply familiar with global trade regulations, and skilled at mitigating currency risk to safeguard company profitability.

Key Responsibilities

International Trade & Forex Management

• Manage Letter of Credit (LC) documentation, bank guarantees, and export bill collections.
• Oversee Foreign Exchange (Forex) transactions, monitor currency fluctuations, and implement hedging strategies.
• Coordinate with banks for the realization of export proceeds and resolve any discrepancies in shipping documents.
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and central bank guidelines (e.g., FEMA, RBI, or local equivalents).

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Supervise day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and budget analysis.
• Oversee payroll processing and manage fixed asset accounting.

Taxation & Compliance

• Handle export incentives, duty drawbacks, tax exemptions, and government subsidy claims.
• Manage statutory compliance including GST/VAT, corporate tax filings, and withholding taxes.
• Lead internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary schedules and documentation.
