Job Description

Shopify Website Developer (E-commerce)

We are looking for a Shopify developer who has built real e-commerce stores and can take one from a blank theme to a fast, high-converting launch. You will build the foundation every brand we work with grows on.

Salary 20000-30000 per month, based on performance and experience


About the role

Chamber X is a growth partner for D2C and e-commerce brands. We handle strategy, ads, SEO, creative and websites for our clients. Every business we take on starts with a strong website, and you will be the person who builds it.


What you will do

  • Build and launch Shopify stores from scratch, from theme setup to go-live
  • Customise themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript so each store looks like the brand, not a template
  • Set up products, collections, navigation, payments (including COD), shipping, taxes and checkout
  • Install and configure the apps a store needs, such as reviews, upsells, COD and checkout tools
  • Set up tracking: Meta Pixel, Conversions API, GA4 and Google Tag Manager
  • Make every store fast and smooth on mobile, and improve conversion rate over time
  • Fix bugs, maintain live stores, and hand over simple documentation
  • Work with our designer, media buyer and SEO specialist so the site supports the ads and the search work


What you need

  • 2+ years of hands-on Shopify experience, with live stores you can show us
  • Strong skills in Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience with Online Store 2.0 themes and custom sections
  • Experience setting up Indian payment gateways, COD and courier integrations
  • Understanding of page speed, mobile layout and what makes a store convert
  • Working knowledge of on-page SEO: meta tags, URLs, redirects and structured data
  • Clear communication and the discipline to meet deadlines


Good to have

  • Shopify Plus or Hydrogen experience
  • Conversion rate optimisation and A/B testing
  • Experience building lead-generation landing pages (for example, for real estate)
  • Comfort turning Figma designs into Shopify themes
