Job Description
- Supervise all loading and unloading activities to ensure safe, efficient, and timely operations.
- Physically verify and count every bag loaded and unloaded from vehicles.
- Ensure that the bag count, vehicle weighment (Kanta), and documentation match before vehicle release.
- Coordinate vehicle weighment and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing vehicles.
- Ensure that no vehicle is dispatched without proper documentation, QC clearance, and bag count verification.
- Verify delivery challans, inward challans, gate passes, and other supporting documents before loading or unloading.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Quality, Dispatch, and Transport teams for smooth material movement.
- Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage, spillage, contamination, pilferage, or quality deterioration.
- Monitor labor deployment and ensure adequate manpower is available for all loading and unloading activities.
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials after unloading.
- Report any shortages, excesses, damages, quality issues, or stock discrepancies immediately to management.
- Maintain records of vehicle movements, loading and unloading activities, labor deployment, and dispatch status.
- Ensure compliance with company safety, housekeeping, and operational procedures.
- Prevent unauthorized movement of any material within or outside company premises.
