Position SummaryThe Store Keeper is responsible for the complete management of the factory stores, including receiving, organizing, issuing, tracking, and maintaining all inventory. This includes raw materials, hardware, project-specific items, consumables, tools, castings, stone, packaging materials, and client-supplied products.

The role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and discipline in maintaining a clean, well-structured store that supports efficient manufacturing.

  • Key ResponsibilitiesInventory ManagementMaintain accurate stock records for all inventory.
  • Receive incoming materials and verify quantity and quality against purchase orders.
  • Label and organize all incoming materials immediately.
  • Update inventory records on the same day of receipt or issue.
  • Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels for standard consumables.
  • Conduct periodic stock verification and physical inventory counts.
  • Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies immediately.
  • Material IssuanceIssue materials only against approved production requirements.
  • Record every material movement.
  • Ensure proper tracking of project-specific materials.
  • Monitor material consumption and report abnormal usage.
  • Coordinate with production teams to avoid shortages.

Store OrganizationMaintain designated storage areas for:

  • Client supplied materials
  • Hardware
  • Brass profiles
  • Stainless steel profiles
  • Aluminium profiles
  • Composite boards
  • Stone
  • Castings
  • Raw metal sheets
  • Fasteners
  • Consumables
  • Packaging materials
  • Finished hardware

Ensure each area is clearly identified and maintained.

Material IdentificationEvery item entering the store must have:

  • Item Name
  • Quantity
  • Date Received
  • Supplier Name
  • Project Name (if applicable)
  • Purchase Order Reference
  • Batch Number (where applicable)

HousekeepingMaintain a clean, organized and safe store at all times.

Follow Aluminr's:

  • 24-Hour Floor Rule
  • Daily 10-Minute Cleaning Routine
  • Weekly Store Audit

No material should remain on the factory floor for more than 24 hours without designated storage.

CoordinationWork closely with:

Tool ManagementMaintain issue and return records for:

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Inventory accuracy of 98% or higher.

  • Completion of weekly and monthly stock audits on schedule.
