**Reports to:** Franchise Owner

**Location:** [Palam village , New Delhi]

**Working Hours:** 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

**Employment Type:** Full-time

## Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and energetic Store In-charge to manage day-to-day operations of our electric scooter rental store. The role covers fleet inventory, weekly rental collection, vehicle-wise records, and lead generation among delivery partners (Swiggy, Zepto, Zomato, Blinkit, etc.).

## Key Responsibilities

**1. Inventory Management**

- Maintain stock of all e-scooters (available, rented, under service, in repair)

- Record daily vehicle issue and return, with condition check (battery, tyres, brakes, body damage)

- Track accessories: batteries, chargers, helmets, keys

- Coordinate servicing and repairs with the service team

- Report missing, damaged, or overdue vehicles immediately

**2. Weekly Payment Collection**

- Collect weekly rent from riders on the due date (UPI, bank transfer)

- Maintain a payment ledger and issue receipts

- Follow up on pending or delayed payments

- Escalate defaulters to the owner with a clear status report

- Prepare weekly collection and outstanding reports

**3. Scooter-wise Database Management**

- Maintain a record for each scooter, including:

 - Chassis/registration number, battery number, and model

 - Rider name, contact, Aadhaar/DL details, and address

• Security deposit collection and maintenance

 - Rental start date, weekly rent, deposit, and payment history

 - Service history, accidents/damage, and pending dues

- Keep all rider KYC documents and agreements properly filed

- Update records daily and ensure accuracy

**4. Lead Generation**

- Generate leads for renting scooters to gig workers

- Convert enquiries into rentals through walk-ins, calls, and follow-ups

- Maintain a lead tracker (source, status, follow-up date, conversion)

- Explain rental plans, deposit, and terms clearly to prospects

**5. Market Awareness and Survey**

- Visit delivery hubs, dark stores, and rider gathering points (Swiggy, Zepto, Zomato, Blinkit, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)

- Run awareness drives: pamphlets, banners, rider WhatsApp groups, tie-ups with hub managers

- Survey rider needs, rental rates, and competitor offerings in the area

- Share a weekly market insights report with the management

**6. Store Management**

- Open and close the store on time; maintain cleanliness and a professional setup

- Ensure safety, charging, and parking arrangements for vehicles

- Supervise helpers, mechanics, or other staff, if any

- Manage petty cash, store expenses, and basic documentation

## Required Qualifications

- Graduate (preferred) or 12th pass with relevant experience

- 0 to 3 years of experience in vehicle rental, automobile dealership, EV, fleet or retail store management, or field sales

- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheet/smartphone apps

- Good communication in Hindi (English is a plus)

## Skills Required

- Honesty, integrity, and accountability in cash handling

- Strong follow-up and recovery skills

- Good organizational and record-keeping ability

- Comfort dealing with gig workers and field-level people

- Basic understanding of electric vehicles (preferred)

- Own smartphone; two-wheeler preferred for field visits

## Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Fleet utilization (% of scooters on rent)

- Weekly collection efficiency (% collected on time)

- Accuracy of the scooter-wise database

- Number of leads generated and converted per month

- Vehicle condition and low damage/loss rate
