Job Description

  • Handle inbound leads within the hour. Qualify on bill amount, roof ownership, shadow-free area and sanctioned load before committing to a site visit.
  • Conduct site surveys. Measure available roof area, assess shading and structure, photograph the meter and sanctioned load, and capture the last 12 months of electricity bills.
  • Prepare and present proposals. Work with our design team to convert survey data into a system size, quotation, subsidy calculation and payback schedule — then walk the customer through it.
  • Explain the subsidy and net metering process accurately. PM Surya Ghar eligibility, the national portal application, DISCOM feasibility and meter installation, and realistic timelines. Never over-promise a subsidy date.
  • Close and collect. Negotiate within approved price bands, get the agreement signed, and ensure the advance is received before handover to the projects team.
  • Hand over cleanly. Brief the execution team on site constraints, customer expectations and committed dates, and stay the customer's point of contact until commissioning.
  • Build the local funnel. RWA meetings, society noticeboards, farmhouse and industrial cluster visits, electrician and architect referral networks.
  • Maintain the CRM daily. Every lead, call, visit and follow-up logged the same day — no exceptions.
  • Support C&I bids where required. Assist with commercial and PSU enquiries, site data collection and documentation for tenders.
