Job Description

We have an urgent hiring requirement for the In-Store Promoter – Non-CD Category for the Pine Labs business. Job Description Ensure the merchants assigned within the geography consistently generate the targeted GMV by actively driving transactions through Pine Labs payment and affordability solutions. Build strong merchant relationships to position Pine Labs as the preferred payment and EMI solution provider across the assigned merchant network. Roles & Responsibilities • Visit assigned merchants as per the planned beat schedule and submit daily activity reports. • Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to drive transaction growth and merchant engagement. • Train merchants and their staff on Pine Labs POS devices, EMI offerings, QR solutions, and other payment products. • Achieve activation, transaction, and GMV targets as assigned. • Promote and drive marketing campaigns, offers, and affordability programs introduced by Pine Labs and partner banks/brands. • Resolve merchant issues by coordinating with internal teams and ensuring timely support. • Gather market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities. • Ensure high merchant satisfaction and regular usage of Pine Labs solutions across the assigned territory. Skills & Experience • Minimum 1 • years of field sales experience in Merchant Acquiring, Merchant Relationship Management, or Sales/Farming within Fintech, Banking, Telecom, Payments, or FMCG (General Trade), preferably handling Non-Consumer Durable (Non-CD) merchants such as grocery, pharmacy, apparel, restaurants, supermarkets, lifestyle, and other retail outlets. • Proven experience in managing a merchant portfolio and driving sales/transaction volumes. • Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a target-driven environment. • Self-motivated, ambitious, and result-oriented. • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory/state for merchant visits (12–15 days per month). • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and other business productivity tools. Preferred Qualifications • Comfortable using a smartphone for business applications. • Owns a two-wheeler with a valid driving license. Soft Skills • Strong negotiation and influencing skills. • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills. • Good communication skills in English and fluency in the local language. • Strong problem-solving ability with a customer-centric approach.
