Relationship Manager - RBG - Construction Equipment-ILG (Infrastructure & Logistics Group)-Business Development

We are seeking a talented and driven Relationship Manager to join our team at Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with construction equipment companies, with a specific focus on the ILG sector. Your primary goal will be to identify and capture new business opportunities, while also ensuring the retention and growth of existing clients. As a Relationship Manager, you will be a key point of contact for our clients, providing them with tailored financial solutions and expert advice.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to target construction equipment companies, with a focus on ILG.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the industry.
  • Identify and assess potential business opportunities, conducting thorough market research and analysis.
  • Prepare and present proposals, financial models, and tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, operations, and legal, to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all client interactions.
  • Stay updated with industry regulations and ensure compliance in all business activities.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in relationship management or business development, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and managing relationships with construction equipment companies or similar industries.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products and services, particularly in the context of working capital and business development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed business decisions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel, for financial modeling and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
