Job Summary

We are looking for confident and responsible Telecallers for our Loan Recovery and Payment Collection process. The candidate will be responsible for calling customers regarding their pending loan instalments, overdue payments, and repayment commitments.

The candidate must communicate politely and professionally, understand the customer’s situation, explain the pending amount, and encourage timely payment while following the company’s collection policies.

Key Responsibilities

Call customers regarding pending loan instalments and overdue payments.

Inform customers about their outstanding amount, due date, late charges, and payment options.

Request customers to make payment within the agreed timeline.

Take payment commitments and follow up on promised payment dates.

Maintain accurate records of every customer interaction and payment status.

Update call remarks, payment commitments, and follow-up dates in the system.

Share payment links or payment-related information with customers when required.

Coordinate with the recovery and collection team regarding difficult or unresolved cases.

Achieve daily and monthly calling and collection targets.

Handle customer objections, payment delays, and queries professionally.

Escalate disputed, high-risk, or sensitive cases to the concerned senior.

Maintain customer confidentiality and follow company policies during every interaction.

Required Skills

Good communication and convincing skills.

Ability to speak confidently and politely with customers.

Strong negotiation and follow-up skills.

Basic computer knowledge and data-entry skills.

Ability to handle pressure and achieve collection targets.

Good listening and problem-solving ability.

Ability to deal with difficult customers calmly and professionally.

Knowledge of Hindi and the local language is preferred.

Basic English communication skills will be an advantage.

Eligibility

Minimum qualification: 12th pass or Graduate.

Freshers with good communication skills may apply.

Candidates with experience in telecalling, loan recovery, banking, NBFC, collections, or payment follow-up will be preferred.

Comfortable working with performance targets and regular follow-ups.

Preferred Experience

0–2 years of experience in telecalling, collections, loan recovery, customer service, or sales.

Experience in handling overdue loan accounts will be an added advantage.

Performance Responsibilities

The candidate’s performance may be evaluated based on:

Number of calls completed.

Customer connections made.

Payment commitments received.

Payments successfully collected.

Follow-ups completed on time.

Accuracy of call remarks and records.

Achievement of daily and monthly recovery targets.

Important Conduct Requirements

Customers must always be treated respectfully.

No threatening, abusive, misleading, or inappropriate language should be used.

Calls must be made only during permitted working hours.

Customer information must remain confidential.

All collection activities must follow company guidelines and applicable regulations.
