Purchase Executive

Role Overview

We're looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage raw material and component sourcing, vendor relationships, and procurement operations for our furniture manufacturing unit, ensuring timely availability of materials at the best possible cost and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials (wood, marble, metal, upholstery fabric, hardware, glass, etc.) from vendors in Kirti Nagar and surrounding markets
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Maintain and expand a reliable vendor database; evaluate vendors on quality, cost, and reliability
• Track material requirements against production schedules and raise purchase orders accordingly
• Coordinate with the Production and Packaging teams to ensure stock availability and avoid delays
• Maintain purchase records, rate comparisons, and inventory documentation
• Resolve quality or delivery issues with vendors promptly
• Monitor market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities

Requirements

• Graduate degree (any stream; commerce/business preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in furniture, wood, or manufacturing industry
• Based in New Delhi (Kirti Nagar proximity preferred)
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets for tracking purchases and inventory
• Good communication skills in Hindi and English
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred

• Familiarity with furniture raw materials (timber types, veneers, marble, upholstery materials, hardware fittings)
• Existing vendor network in Kirti Nagar furniture market
