Job Description – BOQ Engineer / Quantity SurveyorLocation: Patparganj, Delhi

Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month (Based on experience and competency)

About the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented BOQ Engineer / Quantity Surveyor who can efficiently handle BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and cost analysis for multiple ongoing projects. The candidate should be comfortable managing requirements across various project locations and must be willing to travel frequently within NCR and to project sites outside Delhi whenever required.

Key Responsibilities·      Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings, specifications, and site requirements.

·      Perform quantity take-offs and material estimations for civil, finishing, and allied works.

·      Verify quantities executed at site and reconcile them with BOQ and billing records.

·      Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, contractors, and procurement teams.

·      Analyze project costs and support budgeting and cost control activities.

·      Review drawings and identify discrepancies impacting quantities or costs.

·      Prepare comparative statements, rate analysis, and variation reports.

·      Track material consumption and assist in project planning.

·      Visit multiple project sites regularly for quantity verification and progress assessment.

·      Maintain BOQ revisions and project documentation systematically.

·      Support tendering, vendor evaluation, and contractor billing processes.

Required Qualifications·      Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or a related field.

·      Minimum 3–7 years of experience in BOQ preparation, estimation, quantity surveying, and project billing.

·      Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and execution methodologies.

·      Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity estimation tools.

·      Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously.

·      Strong analytical and communication skills.

Mandatory Requirements·      Must be willing to travel frequently across Delhi NCR and other project locations as required.

·      Must own a personal two-wheeler or four-wheeler for site visits within NCR.

·      Must possess a valid driving license.

·      Ability to work independently and coordinate across multiple sites.

Preferred Skills·      Expertise in rate analysis and cost estimation.

·      Experience in residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects.

·      Strong coordination and reporting capabilities.

·      Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple project requirements.
