Job Description
Key Account Manager cum Sales Coordinator
Experience3–7 Years (Automotive / Manufacturing Industry Preferred)
Job Summary
Responsible for managing key customer accounts, coordinating order execution, ensuring timely deliveries and payment collections, and maintaining strong customer relationships to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Key ResponsibilitiesManage and strengthen relationships with OEMs, distributors, and key customers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer orders, inquiries, and commercial matters.
- Coordinate with Production, PPC, Purchase, Quality, Dispatch, and Accounts teams for smooth order execution.
- Ensure timely order processing, dispatches, and delivery commitments.
- Proactively follow up with customers for outstanding payments and ensure collections are as per agreed credit terms.
- Monitor customer schedules, order status, delivery performance, and payment aging.
- Prepare quotations, sales reports, MIS, and account performance reviews.
- Resolve customer issues related to deliveries, quality, pricing, and service.
- Support demand planning, sales forecasting, and business development activities within assigned accounts.
- Maintain accurate customer records in ERP/CRM systems.
- RequirementsGraduate/Post Graduate in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or Engineering.
- Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and customer management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Experience in automotive components, locksets, aftermarket, or OEM business preferred.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Customer satisfaction and retention.
- On-time delivery performance.
- Achievement of sales targets.
- Collection efficiency and overdue payment reduction.
- Order fulfillment accuracy.
- Response time and issue resolution effectiveness.
