Interior Designer

Job Summary: We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming interior spaces into functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environments that meet the client's needs and budget. You will manage projects from the initial conceptual design phase through to final installation, working closely with clients, architects, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to determine their goals, requirements, preferences, and budget for the project.
• Space Planning: Formulate spatial layouts to optimize function, flow, and safety, ensuring compliance with building codes and accessibility standards.
• Concept Development: Create design concepts, color palettes, and mood boards. Develop sketches, detailed 2D floor plans, and 3D renderings to present ideas to clients.
• Material & Furniture Selection: Source and specify materials, finishes, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment).
• Project Management: Coordinate and collaborate with architects, general contractors, electricians, and other trades to ensure the design intent is executed correctly.
• Budget & Timeline Management: Prepare accurate cost estimates, manage project budgets, and ensure timelines and delivery schedules are met.
• Procurement: Place orders for materials and furnishings, track shipments, and oversee the installation process.
• Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve any on-site issues, and ensure the quality of work.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a closely related field.
• Experience: 2–5 years of proven working experience in interior design (specify residential or commercial if necessary).
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing previous design projects, including concept development, drafting, and finished spaces.
• Certifications: Professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ, LEED) or state licensure is a strong advantage.
