Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and technically competent IT, Audio Visual & Office Automation Field Engineer to join our Technical Services team.

This is a 100% field-based role involving installation, commissioning, configuration, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance and technical support for IT Infrastructure, Audio Visual Solutions, Office Automation Products and Security Systems at customer locations.

The ideal candidate should possess strong practical knowledge of computer hardware, networking, electronics and AV technologies with the ability to independently execute projects and provide excellent customer service.

• Key Roles & Responsibilities Installation & Commissioning Install, configure and commission desktops, laptops, workstations and computer peripherals.
• Install and configure Windows operating systems, software applications and drivers.
• Install and configure networking equipment including switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points and structured cabling.
• Install, integrate and commission complete Audio-Visual solutions.
• Install Office Automation products including multifunction printers, digital copiers, scanners and network printers.
• Install CCTV surveillance systems, IP cameras, DVR/NVR, Access Control Systems and Attendance Systems.
• Perform equipment mounting, rack installation, cable laying, cable termination, cable dressing and equipment labelling.
• Ensure installations comply with OEM specifications, technical drawings and industry standards.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and networking issues.
• Troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops and peripheral devices.
• Resolve LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi and IP network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot Audio Visual equipment and integrated AV systems.
• Diagnose faults in printers, copiers and office automation products.
• Attend onsite customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide remote technical support whenever required.
• Coordinate with OEM technical support teams for advanced troubleshooting.

• Multifunction Printers (MFPs)

• IT Infrastructure Install computer hardware and peripherals.
• Configure desktops and laptops for end users.
• Install and maintain UPS systems.
• Perform structured cabling and patch management.
• Configure IP-based devices.
• Assist in basic server installation and network setup.
• Preventive Maintenance Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance visits.
• Inspect installed equipment for optimum performance.
• Update firmware and software.
• Replace faulty hardware components.
• Perform routine health checks.
• Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance practices.
• Documentation Prepare installation reports.
• Submit service reports after every customer visit.
• Maintain records of equipment model numbers and serial numbers.
• Update customer service records.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and spare parts.
• Submit daily work reports and field activity reports.
• Customer Support Demonstrate installed equipment to customers.
• Train customers on proper operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Explain product features and functionalities.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction after every installation and service call.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Coordination Coordinate with OEMs for technical support and warranty cases.
• Liaise with vendors for replacements and service coordination.
• Work closely with Sales, Projects and Backend teams.
• Assist the Sales team in technical demonstrations whenever required.
• Support project execution and commissioning activities.

• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.

• Ability to read technical drawings and installation layouts.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or Electronics

OR

• ITI in Computer Hardware, Information Technology or Electronics
• Experience Minimum 2 years of hands-on field experience in:

Candidates with experience in enterprise installations and customer-facing technical support will be preferred.

Preference will be given to candidates who:

• Own a two-wheeler or four-wheeler with a valid driving license and are willing to travel extensively across Delhi NCR.
• Have practical experience in installing, configuring, commissioning and troubleshooting IT, Audio Visual, Office Automation and Security products.
