Job Description
- Key Responsibilities:Plan & Coordinate Production:
- Review event layouts, designs, and production schedules.
- Coordinate with designers, fabricators, vendors, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Prepare production timelines and supervise execution to meet deadlines.
- On-Site Supervision:
- Manage and guide production crew during setup and dismantling.
- Ensure that stalls, counters, lighting, and furniture are installed as per approved designs.
- Conduct quality checks on fabrication and finishing before client handover.
- Team & Vendor Management:
- Assign daily tasks to production staff and monitor performance.
- Liaise with vendors for additional requirements (lighting, furniture, AV, etc.).
- Resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid delays.
- Client Coordination:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client during production.
- Handle approvals, last-minute changes, and provide status updates.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to venue safety guidelines and contractor risk checks.
- Monitor safe use of equipment, materials, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Reporting:
- Prepare daily progress reports and submit post-event reports with material usage and damages (if any).
- Requirements:Minimum 3–5 years of experience in event production, exhibition stall management, or related field.
- Strong understanding of stall fabrication, lighting setup, truss, and Maxima/Octonorm structures.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including late nights and weekends during event days.
- Basic computer knowledge (Excel/Word for production reports).
- Preferred Skills:Experience with major exhibition venues (Pragati Maidan, Bombay Exhibition Center, etc.).
- Knowledge of event safety guidelines, material handling, and vendor coordination.
- Strong communication skills to handle both clients and production crew.
