Job Title: Event Sales Manager – Conferences, Events & Media Partnerships


Location: Delhi, India / UAE (as applicable)

Job Overview


We are seeking an energetic and target-driven Event Sales Manager to lead revenue generation across our conferences, summits, exhibitions, educational events, business forums, and leadership programs. The candidate will be responsible for selling event tickets, sponsorship packages, exhibition spaces, delegate participation, media partnerships, and supporting nomination-based participation models.


The ideal candidate should have strong networking, negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills with corporates, institutions, government stakeholders, media houses, and individual participants.


Key Responsibilities


1. Event & Conference Sales


* Drive ticket sales and delegate registrations for conferences, summits, workshops, and leadership events.

* Sell exhibition booths, event spaces, and participation packages.

* Promote VIP passes, corporate tables, premium seating, and networking packages.

* Develop institutional and corporate participation opportunities.


2. Sponsorship & Partnership Sales


* Generate sponsorship revenue through Gold, Silver, Platinum, and Title sponsorship packages.

* Identify and onboard strategic partners and supporting organizations.

* Prepare sponsorship proposals and customized sales presentations.

* Maintain sponsor relationships before, during, and after events.


3. Media Sales & Promotion


* Sell media partnership opportunities including:

  * Event branding rights

  * Digital media promotions

  * Interview slots

  * Magazine features

  * Social media campaigns

  * Press and PR packages

  * Event coverage partnerships

* Coordinate with media agencies and communication partners.


4. Nominations & Recognition Sales Support


* Support sales and participation through nomination-driven programs.

* Coordinate applications and nomination submissions for:

  * Awards

  * Honorary recognitions

  * Leadership recognitions

  * Conference speaker opportunities

  * Delegation participation

* Guide applicants through the onboarding and approval process.


5. Business Development


* Build and maintain pipelines of leads and prospects.

* Conduct outreach through calls, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and meetings.

* Attend networking events and represent the company.

* Develop long-term relationships with clients and repeat participants.


6. Reporting & Performance


* Maintain CRM and sales reports.

* Track revenue targets and conversion rates.

* Submit weekly and monthly performance updates.

* Coordinate with operations and event execution teams.


KPIs / Success Metrics


* Ticket sales achievement.

* Exhibition and sponsorship revenue.

* Number of nominations converted.

* Media partnership closures.

* Corporate accounts acquired.

* Event attendance growth.

* Client retention and repeat participation.


Requirements


* Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred).

* 3–8 years experience in Event Sales, Conference Sales, Sponsorship Sales, Media Sales, or Business Development.

* Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

* Excellent communication in English and regional languages.

* Experience using CRM and sales tools is preferred.
