E-Commerce Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy in line with business objectives.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the company’s website and online marketplaces.
• Monitor product listings, pricing, promotions, inventory, and product availability.
• Drive online sales, revenue growth, customer acquisition, and profitability.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns, seasonal offers, discounts, and product launches.
• Manage digital marketing activities including Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, email marketing, and social media campaigns.
• Analyze website and marketplace performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor key metrics including sales, conversion rate, average order value, traffic, customer acquisition cost, and ROAS.
• Develop strategies to improve conversion rates, customer retention, and repeat purchases.
• Work closely with marketing, sales, operations, logistics, customer service, and product teams.
• Coordinate with marketplace partners and external agencies to maximize online performance.
• Ensure accurate product information, images, descriptions, pricing, and promotional content across all channels.
• Manage the online customer journey and continuously improve website usability and shopping experience.
• Forecast online sales and work with inventory/operations teams to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Identify market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities for business growth.
• Prepare regular sales and performance reports for management.
• Ensure smooth order processing, delivery, returns, refunds, and customer-service processes.
• Stay updated with the latest e-commerce technologies, digital marketing trends, consumer behavior, and marketplace developments.
• Required SkillsStrong understanding of e-commerce business operations and online sales.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, or other relevant platforms.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, paid advertising, and social media.
• Excellent analytical and data-interpretation skills.
• Strong knowledge of e-commerce KPIs and sales analytics.
• Good communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet revenue targets.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and e-commerce analytics tools.
