Job Description

  • Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook Indian dishes such as curries, gravies, tandoor items, breads, and appetizers as per standard recipes.
  • Assist in mise en place (cutting, chopping, marination, portioning).
  • Support the Chef de Partie / Commis I in daily kitchen operations.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards as per FSSAI and company guidelines.
  • Follow food safety, storage, and handling procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform seniors about shortages.
  • Properly store ingredients and manage wastage.
  • Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any faults.
  • Assist in receiving and checking raw materials and supplies.
