Civil Engineer

Job OverviewWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Civil Engineer / Diploma Civil Engineer to oversee end-to-end execution and daily project management of high-end low-rise builder floor construction projects in South Delhi in and around Chittaranjan Park only.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing site operations, supervising contractors, ensuring strict quality control, and handling billing measurements from structural construction through final finishing.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision & Execution: Oversee daily operations on-site to ensure work progresses according to approved structural and architectural drawings.
• Contractor & Vendor Management: Daily coordination with labor contractors, specialized sub-contractors (plumbing, electrical, woodwork, painting), and vendors to align daily target outputs.
• Billing & Quantity Surveying (QS):

• Measure executed work accurately at site (Initial, Running, and Final Contractor Bills).
• Check, verify, and reconcile material requirements and consumption against site progress.
• Prepare and verify Joint Measurement Records (JMR).
• Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QA/QC):
• 
  
• Conduct regular quality checks for concreting, shuttering, brickwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, and interior finishing work.
• Ensure strict compliance with structural specifications and safety guidelines.
• Project Management & Tracking:
• 
  
• Track construction timelines and daily work progress against baseline project schedules.
• Report daily progress (DPRs) and highlight potential delays or site bottlenecks to management.
• Material Management: Verify material quality upon arrival and monitor site storage and handling to minimize waste.
• Key Requirements & QualificationsEducation: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering OR Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 2–3 years of proven hands-on experience in residential low-rise builder floors or premium independent bungalows (preferably in South Delhi / Delhi NCR).
• Technical Skills:

• Proficient in reading and interpreting structural, architectural, MEP, and working drawings.
• Strong expertise in site billing, MB (Measurement Book) recording, and material estimation.
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD (for checking drawings/site measurements).
• Soft Skills & Operational Aptitude:

• Strong communication and site management skills.
• Ability to command authority and maintain discipline among labor and contractors.
• Locality Preference: Candidates residing in or comfortable commuting to South Delhi will be strongly preferred.
• Own Vehicle Mandatory : Own vehicle is mandatory, petrol allowance will be provided.
