CAD Engineer

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Patent Drawing Engineer to create high-quality technical illustrations for utility and design patent applications. The role involves converting invention concepts, sketches, and descriptions into precise drawings that meet global patent office standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and edit patent drawings for utility and design patents (USPTO, EPO, PCT)

Develop detailed 2D/3D technical and product illustrations using AutoCAD and Engineer Drawing

Prepare exploded, sectional, and shaded views with accurate reference numerals

Interpret technical concepts and transform them into clear, compliant drawings

Ensure all illustrations meet patent formatting and quality standards

Requirements:

B.E./B.Tech (any specialization) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop

Strong understanding of engineering drawings and visualization

Knowledge of sketching and shading techniques

Detail-oriented with a proactive and positive approach
