Job Description

Job Summary:

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving on-ground market development within an assigned territory, focusing on building strong relationships with architects and interior designers, generating project pipelines, and converting specifications into business.

This is a high-intensity field role, requiring daily client engagement and strong follow-through from specification to order closure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Relationship Development

· Identify and actively engage with architects, interior designers, and furniture manufacturers within the assigned territory

· Build and maintain strong, trust-based professional relationships

· Ensure regular and structured visit cycles across mapped accounts

2. Pipeline Creation & Management

· Track ongoing and upcoming projects across design firms

· Understand project timelines, requirements, and decision-making stages

· Position Pllum Legno products at the right stage of project specification

3. Product Presentation & Specification

· Present and demonstrate veneers, solid wood, and premium surfaces with clarity and confidence

· Align product recommendations with design intent and project requirements

· Ensure inclusion of Pllum Legno products in project specifications

4. Conversion to Business

· Drive conversion of specifications into confirmed orders

· Coordinate internally for sampling, pricing, and execution

· Ensure timely follow-ups until closure

5. Account Management

· Manage and grow existing accounts while consistently adding new relationships

· Strengthen repeat business through consistent engagement

6. Reporting & Discipline

· Maintain daily reporting of client visits, pipeline updates, and follow-ups

· Ensure accurate tracking of opportunities and conversion status

7. Brand Representation

· Represent Pllum Legno at industry events, exhibitions, and networking platforms

· Maintain high standards of professionalism and brand positioning

Candidate Profile:

· 4–7 years of experience in business development or sales within luxury interiors or premium building materials 

· Prior experience in an architect/designer-facing role is mandatory 

· Strong understanding of specification-based selling and project cycles 

· Existing network of architects/designers in Delhi NCR is preferred

· Exposure to premium categories such as surfaces, stone, wood, lighting, bath fittings, or furniture

· Must own a vehicle and be comfortable with daily field travel

· Strong communication skills with a design-oriented mindset 

· Self-driven, disciplined, and execution-focused

Compensation & Growth:

· Fixed CTC: ₹7–10 LPA

· High performers will have the opportunity to grow into team leadership roles

Non-Negotiable:

Candidates must own a four-wheeler. Profiles without this will not be considered, as the role involves extensive daily field travel.
