About the Role: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Intern to support our Accounts & Finance team in day-to-day accounting, reconciliation, documentation, GST-related work, and e-commerce transaction management.

The intern will get practical exposure to accounting operations involving Amazon, eBay, Coupang, bank transactions, purchase records, sales records, GST, TDS/TCS, inventory and payment reconciliation.

• Key Responsibilities: Record daily sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments.
• Assist with bookkeeping and maintaining accounting records in Tally / Excel / Google Sheets.
• Perform bank reconciliation and identify unmatched transactions.
• Reconcile payments and settlements received from marketplaces such as:
• eBay
• Amazon
• Coupang
• Other e-commerce platforms
• Match marketplace orders with payment settlements, refunds, fees and deductions.
• Maintain purchase invoices, sales invoices and expense bills.
• Assist in tracking accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Support preparation of GST reconciliation and GST return working.
• Assist with GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GST ITC reconciliation and related documentation.
• Assist with TDS/TCS reconciliation.
• Verify vendor invoices and maintain supplier records.
• Support export accounting and maintain records of export invoices, shipping/AWB details and marketplace orders.
• Maintain SKU/product-wise purchase and sales records.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation between purchase, sales and available stock.
• Track marketplace refunds, returns, deductions, commissions and other charges.
• Prepare basic MIS and management reports using Excel/Google Sheets.
• Help prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow supporting data.
• Organize accounting documents and maintain proper digital records.
• Coordinate with operations, procurement and accounts teams for missing invoices or transaction details.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks assigned by the senior accountant or management.
• Required SkillsBasic understanding of Accounting, Debit/Credit, Journal Entries and Ledger Accounts.
• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS and TCS.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with formulas such as:
• VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP
• SUMIF / SUMIFS
• Pivot Tables
• Filters and basic data analysis
• Basic knowledge of Tally Prime will be preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to handle large amounts of transaction data.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to learn e-commerce accounting and reconciliation.
