Job Description
01. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Retail Sales Executive is responsible for driving in-store sales while delivering a premium customer experience.
The role involves engaging walk-in customers, understanding their needs, recommending the right products, and contributing to smooth store operations.
02. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Achievement: Achieve monthly sales targets through effective customer engagement and consultative selling.
Conversion & Basket Size: Convert walk-ins into customers using consultative selling and increase average bill value through upselling and cross-selling.
Customer Experience: Deliver an exceptional in-store customer experience and resolve customer queries promptly.
Operations & POS: Handle billing and POS transactions accurately, keeping cash and digital checkouts seamless.
Product Expertise: Maintain deep product knowledge and demonstrate technical features confidently.
Inventory & Upkeep: Support inventory management, visual merchandising, store upkeep, and assist during peak store hours.
Management Support: Support store operations, assist with basic product installation, drive store-led promotional activities, and step in for the Store Manager when required.
03. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Experience: 1–3 years of retail sales experience.
Experience in automotive, riding gear, apparel, or premium retail preferred.
Freshers: Freshers with relevant automotive or related educational backgrounds may be considered.
Skillsets: Strong customer service, communication, and consultative selling skills.
Comfortable with upselling, cross-selling, and explaining technical products.
