Resident Medical Officer

Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department.

Perform emergency procedures including intubation, CPR, central venous access, suturing, and trauma management.

Stabilize critically ill and injured patients before admission, transfer, or discharge.

Manage medical, surgical, pediatric, obstetric, and trauma emergencies.

Coordinate timely referrals and consultations with specialty consultants.

Ensure accurate clinical documentation, prescriptions, and discharge summaries.

Respond to Code Blue and other emergency calls within the hospital.

Adhere to NABH standards, infection control protocols, and patient safety guidelines.

Communicate effectively with patients and their attendants regarding diagnosis and treatment plans.

Participate in departmental audits, CMEs, and quality improvement initiatives.

Supervise RMOs, nursing staff, and other emergency department personnel when required.
