MIS Executive

About the Role

Crescendo extends credit to micro-entrepreneurs and small borrowers, with field teams working on the ground every day to source and service our borrowers. As a business correspondent operation, we're looking for a detail-oriented MIS Executive to own the reporting backbone of these field operations. You'll be the person who turns raw, messy operational data into clean, reliable reports that leadership and field teams can act on.

Key Responsibilities

* Build, maintain, and refresh daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports and dashboards for field operations, collections, and portfolio performance

* Consolidate data from multiple sources (field systems, spreadsheets, exports) into clean, standardized formats

* Clean and validate raw data - handle duplicates, formatting inconsistencies, missing values, and mismatched records

* Reconcile data across sources and flag discrepancies before they reach reports

* Automate recurring reports and reduce manual effort where possible

* Respond to ad-hoc data requests from operations and leadership with quick turnaround

* Maintain organized, well-documented file structures and version control for all reports

Required Skills

* Strong Excel proficiency - comfortable with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables, conditional formatting, IF logic, and text functions

* Data cleanup/massaging - proven ability to take messy, inconsistent raw data and turn it into usable, structured datasets

* Organized and systematic - keeps files, folders, and reports clean, labeled, and easy to trace

* Accuracy and attention to detail — catches errors before they become problems

* Reliability with deadlines — reports go out on time, every time

Good to Have

* Familiarity with lending, BC operations, or financial services data

* Exposure to Google Sheets, Power Query, or basic SQL

* Basic understanding of collections/DPD buckets and field operations metrics

Qualifications

* Graduate in any discipline (Commerce/Finance/Statistics preferred)

* 1–3 years in an MIS, data operations, or reporting role
