Job Summary

Shri Ganesh Engineering Works is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer & Operator responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to manufacture precision components as per customer drawings and specifications. The candidate must have hands-on experience in CNC programming using Mastercam and Edgecam software and be capable of independently handling jobs from drawing interpretation to production.

Key Responsibilities

CNC Programming

• Read and interpret customer drawings, technical specifications, and machining requirements.
• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using **Mastercam and Edgecam** software.
• Generate tool paths for CNC Turning, Milling, and VMC operations.
• Select suitable tools, cutting parameters, fixtures, and machining strategies.
• Verify programs and conduct trial runs before production.

CNC Machine Setup & Operation

• Set up CNC Turning Centers, VMCs, and other CNC machines.
• Install and align tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Operate machines to manufacture components within specified tolerances.
• Monitor production and make program adjustments as required.

Drawing-Based Manufacturing

• Manufacture components strictly according to customer drawings.
• Understand dimensions, tolerances, surface finish requirements, and machining symbols.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain CNC programs, setup sheets, and production records.

Quality Control

Conduct in-process and final inspections using:

1. Vernier Caliper
2. Micrometer
3. Bore Gauge
4. Dial Indicator
5. Height Gauge

• Ensure all parts meet drawing requirements and quality standards.
• Identify and rectify dimensional deviations.

Required Qualifications

• Graduation in Mechanical Engineering, Machinist, Turner, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in CNC Programming and Machine Operation.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawing reading and interpretation.
