Cashier

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Cashier to handle cash transactions, billing, payments, and daily cash records. The candidate should have good communication skills and basic knowledge of computers.

Key Responsibilities

Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions.

Generate accurate bills and invoices for customers.

Receive payments and provide correct change to customers.

Maintain daily cash and transaction records.

Verify cash balance at the beginning and end of each shift.

Handle customer queries related to billing and payments.

Process refunds and exchanges according to company policies.

Maintain proper records of receipts, invoices, and transactions.

Coordinate with the accounts team regarding daily collections.

Ensure the cash counter is clean and organized.

Report any cash discrepancies to the supervisor or manager.

Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling.

Requirements

Good communication and customer-handling skills.

Basic knowledge of computers and billing software.

Good numerical and calculation skills.

Honest, reliable, and responsible.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure during busy hours.

Previous cashier experience is preferred but freshers can also apply.
