Service Engineer

A Service Engineer ensures that machinery, equipment, or technical systems function efficiently. They provide technical support, diagnose issues, and perform repairs either on-site or remotely to minimize downtime and maintain customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission equipment or systems at client locations
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot technical issues
• Repair or replace defective components
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers
• Maintain service records and prepare detailed reports
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Train customers or staff on proper equipment usage
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and service calls

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering (mechanical, electrical, electronics, or related field)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of tools, machinery, or technical systems
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Willingness to travel frequently (for field roles)
