Job Description

1)    Quality Management System (QMS):

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QMS policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO/ IATF/ Customer standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across departments.

2)    Process Audits:

  • Plan and conduct regular process audits to verify adherence to SOPs and QMS requirements.
  • Identify gaps, recommend corrective actions, and monitor implementation.

3)    Product Audits:

  • Conduct product audits to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve non-conformities.

4)    Customer Audits:

  • Coordinate and support customer audits, ensuring readiness and compliance with customer-specific requirements.
  • Work as the primary point of contact during customer audits and manage audit responses.
  • Implement corrective actions based on customer audit findings.

5)    Third-Party Audits:

  • Prepare and facilitate third-party audits (ISO/ IATF, regulatory, certification bodies).
  • Ensure documentation and processes are audit-ready at all times.
  • Track and close audit observations effectively.

6)     ERP System Integration:

  • Map and integrate quality processes into ERP modules.
  • Generate ERP-based reports for audit findings, production, product quality, and process performance.
  • Train users on ERP quality functionalities and ensure effective utilization.

7)    Documentation & Compliance:

  • Maintain audit records, inspection reports, and certifications.
  • Prepare dashboards and reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

8)     Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work with production, supply chain, and Customer & Vendor teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Support supplier audits and evaluations through ERP-enabled workflows.
  • Facilitate communication to uphold quality standards across departments.

9)    Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and rejection reduction & waste reduction.
  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies to improve efficiency.
  • Monitor KPIs such as audit closure rate, defect reduction, and ERP compliance score.
  • Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.
