Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Find new corporate clients through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Technical Selling: Explain complex engineering or machinery features to plant heads, buyers, and technical teams.
- Key Account Management: Maintain long-term relationships with existing factories, distributors, and industrial clients.
- Sales Forecasting: Track revenue targets, prepare commercial proposals, and manage sales pipelines.
- Market Intelligence: Study competitor pricing, industry trends, and changing customer requirements. [1, 2, 3]
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation) or a Business degree (MBA/BBA).
- Experience: 2 to 8 years of B2B technical sales or industrial marketing experience.
- Hard Skills: Technical product knowledge, CRM software usage, pipeline tracking, and commercial negotiation.
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal communication, problem-solving, and professional relationship-building.
