Job Description
- Experience Required: 5–10 Years

- Key Responsibilities Lead and manage day-to-day production operations to ensure timely delivery and optimal resource utilization.
- Develop, implement, and monitor production plans, schedules, and workflows.
- Analyze production processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvement, cost reduction, and waste elimination.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor production KPIs such as productivity, downtime, rejection rates, OEE, and on-time delivery.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for production issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
- Manage manpower planning, workforce allocation, and team performance.
- Prepare production reports and present operational performance to senior management.
- Support new product introduction, process validation, and capacity expansion projects.
- Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of production equipment and machinery.
- Train, mentor, and develop production engineering and shop-floor teams.
- Required Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in production engineering or manufacturing operations.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and manufacturing systems.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and team management abilities.
- Preferred Skills Experience in automotive, engineering, fabrication, FMCG, chemical, pharmaceutical, or process manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, quality management systems, and safety compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Data-driven approach to production monitoring and process improvement.
