Job Description

  • Maintain accurate stock register (inward/outward entries) for fertilizers and pesticides
  • Ensure FIFO/batch-wise stock rotation to avoid expiry losses
  • Supervise loading/unloading of goods and coordinate with transporters
  • Verify quantity and quality of incoming stock against purchase orders/invoices
  • Ensure proper storage as per safety norms (segregation of chemicals, ventilation, no leakage/damage)
  • Coordinate with sales team for timely dispatch of orders
  • Conduct periodic physical stock verification and report discrepancies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of godown
  • Ensure labour/helpers under supervision follow safety and handling protocols
  • Basic documentation: gate passes, delivery challans, stock reports
