The Purchase and Accounts Executive

SGGPL is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of a wide range of transmission gears, engine gears and shafts to the agricultural automotive equipment. The Purchase and Accounts Executive is responsible for managing the procurement activities and financial transactions of the company. This role involves ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, supplies, and services required for ear manufacturing while maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement and accounting, with a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
• Record and process financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, expense reports, and invoices.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts as required by management.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, inventory status, and financial performance for management review.
• Analyze procurement costs and financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
• Maintain organized records of contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and financial documents.
• Support the Finance and Operations teams in various administrative tasks as needed.
• Ensure that all procurement and accounting activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3+years of experience in procurement and accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
