Field Sales Executive

Zokit supplies construction materials across Mysore. We buy from local suppliers, and sell and deliver to contractors, builders

and homeowners.

This is a sales job, and we are looking for someone who already knows this trade. You should have walked into hardware

shops before, know how a shop owner thinks about margin and stock, and be able to talk about cement, pipes, wires or paint

without needing a product sheet. If you already have contacts in the Mysore construction-material market, this role is built

for you.

Most of your day is on the road. You plan your own route, meet people face to face, and report in at the end of the day.

What you'll sell, and to whom

Suppliers. Hardware shops, cement outlets, paint shops, plumbing and electrical stores, warehouses and distributors across

Mysore. You bring them onto Zokit so we can buy from them.

Customers. Contractors, builders, construction companies and homeowners on site. You bring them orders.

The materials. Cement, plumbing pipes and fittings, paints, wires, electrical conduits, adhesives such as Fevicol, plywood,

MDF and HDHMR, and site consumables.

What you'll do

• Work your own network first. Open the shops and sites where you already have a relationship, and convert them.

• Cover your territory. Visit construction-material shops, hardware stores and warehouses across Mysore and bring

them onto Zokit as suppliers.

• Sell the proposition. Explain how Zokit works, how they receive orders, and how and when they get paid. Handle the

objections that come with it.

• Close and onboard. Complete the onboarding form, collect their GST certificate, PAN, bank details and brand

authorisation certificates, and register them in the Zokit app.

• Visit construction sites and approach contractors, builders and construction companies to bring in orders.

• Hit your targets on suppliers activated and orders generated, and grow both month on month.

• Keep suppliers and customers warm, follow up on every enquiry, and turn repeat business into a habit.

• Report visits, leads and outcomes daily, and tell us what you see on pricing, competitors and demand.

What you must bring

• Time spent in the construction-material trade: cement, paints, plumbing, electricals, hardware, adhesives or a related

building-material line. What matters is that you know it, not how long you were there.

• Working knowledge of the products. You should be able to talk grades, brands and sizes with a shop owner and be

taken seriously.

• An existing network in Mysore. Shop owners, contractors or builders who will take your call.

• Fluent Kannada, and the confidence to open a conversation with a stranger and ask for the business.

• Own two-wheeler with a valid driving licence. Travel across the city is daily and required.

• Organised with paperwork. Onboarding a supplier means documents, and they have to be right.

• Honest, reliable, and comfortable working to a target.

You enjoy being out of the office, you would rather be judged on what you close than on hours at a desk, and you already

know which shops in Mysore matter. If you have sold cement, paint, pipes or wires in this city before, you will recognise most

of this job on day one.
