Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines for the production of precision components. The ideal candidate should be able to read engineering drawings, perform quality inspections, and maintain production standards while following all safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines (Turning, Milling, VMC/HMC, or Router as applicable).

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

Load raw materials and tools into CNC machines.

Monitor machine operations and make minor offset adjustments when required.

Measure finished parts using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.

Inspect components to ensure they meet quality specifications.

Replace worn cutting tools and maintain tool offsets.

Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.

Record production data and inspection reports.

Follow company safety policies and maintain a clean work environment.

Report machine breakdowns or quality issues to the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Machinist, Turner, or CNC Operator.

1–5 years of experience operating CNC machines (Freshers may also be considered for trainee roles).

Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G & M Codes) is an advantage.

Ability to read engineering drawings.

Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.

Good understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards.

Standing for extended periods.

Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
