Position: Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Location: Katni Region

Industry Preference: FMCG

Experience Required: Minimum 3–4 years of relevant sales experience in FMCG industry

Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)


Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) for the Katni region to lead sales operations, drive market expansion, and strengthen distribution channels. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in the FMCG industry, excellent communication skills, and strong understanding of the local market dynamics.


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth and achieve assigned business targets for the Katni region.
  • Appoint, manage, and strengthen distributor/dealer networks in the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key channel partners.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand product reach across the region.
  • Monitor sales performance, market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to improve market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Lead, guide, and monitor the performance of the field sales team.
  • Ensure effective implementation of trade schemes, promotional activities, and sales initiatives.
  • Conduct regular market visits to review business performance and strengthen customer engagement.
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and business updates for management review.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for smooth order execution and supply management.
  • Ensure timely collection and adherence to company sales processes.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Prior experience in handling distributors and sales teams will be preferred.
