Senior Engineer - Cell Maintenance

Responsibilities

Pre-Annealing Tool Management:

• Operate and maintain pre-annealing tools to ensure proper preparation and treatment of materials before the annealing process.

Post-Annealing Tool Management:

• Oversee and manage post-annealing tools to ensure accurate and efficient processing after the annealing stage.

Gas Handling and Optimization:

• Manage and optimize the use of gases during thermal processing, ensuring correct flow and composition for effective and safe operations.

Breakdown Response and Troubleshooting:

• Address and resolve thermal Tools breakdowns promptly, analyzing issues to prevent future occurrences.

Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA):

• Implement CAPA plans promptly for major breakdowns, ensuring quick resolution and putting preventive measures in place to minimize downtime.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure thermal processes meet specified quality standards and performance criteria.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during thermal operations to maintain a safe work environment.

Team Leadership and Training:

• Lead and support a team of technicians or operators, providing guidance, training, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for optimizing thermal processes, enhancing efficiency, and implementing cost-effective improvements to operations.

Key Stakeholders - Internal:

• Head of Cell Maintenance
• Other Shift Engineers within the same cluster
• Lead of Cell Maintenance

Key Stakeholders - External:

• Equipment Suppliers
• Maintenance Contractors
• Regulatory Authorities

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

• B.Tech/ Diploma – Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical
• Desired Qualification : BE/BTech

Work Experience (Range of years):

• Min 2 - 5 years of experience in managing and maintaining thermal tools and equipment in solar manufacturing, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
