Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil & gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.

Job Purpose: The Construction Fab Shop O&M Senior Team Member is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the fabrication shop's machinery and equipment, driving preventive maintenance strategies, and optimizing fabrication processes to meet project timelines. This role focuses on maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while adhering to safety, quality, and compliance standards. The Senior Team Member works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of fabrication tasks, manage resources effectively, and implement cost-saving measures that contribute to overall project success.

Risk Mitigation & Equipment Reliability:

Ensure continuous equipment uptime and reduce downtime by managing critical stock and optimizing vendor networks for prompt part replacement.

Contribute to improved equipment uptime and efficiency by proactively following and optimizing preventive maintenance schedules.

Enforce safety policies and regulatory standards, leading to fewer workplace incidents and legal risks.

Fabrication Shop & CNC Optimization:

Deliver on-time project completion by effectively streamlining fabrication and CNC schedules, minimizing downtime.

Contribute to cost savings and improved project margins by reducing material waste through precise cutting plans and effective CNC nesting.

Enhance CNC machine utilization and minimize disruptions by coordinating between fabrication and CNC departments.

Operational & Maintenance Strategy:

Improve equipment reliability and availability by supporting O&M strategy implementation.

Prevent disruptions and ensure continuous production by optimizing power distribution across fabrication operations.

Financial Planning & Cost Control:

Contribute to cost savings by streamlining material procurement and ensuring timely delivery of critical materials to avoid project delays.

Enhance financial performance by reducing waste, optimizing resource utilization, and supporting cost-saving initiatives.

Support timely payments and reduce financial discrepancies by assisting in vendor billing management.

Stakeholder Management:

Improve coordination and resolve issues promptly across departments, contributing to improved operational flow and project execution.

Help establish local vendor networks to strengthen cost control and reduce supply chain dependency.

Team Management:

Support team performance by assisting in task delegation, ensuring timely completion of objectives.

Enhance team productivity through effective training, improving skill levels and reducing operational errors.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or equivalent advanced certification is preferred.

Work Experience (Range of years):

Minimum of 5-8 years in manufacturing, fabrication, or similar industries with a focus on equipment reliability, risk mitigation, and CNC optimization.
