Testing Associate
J.P. Morgan Wealth Management is a global leader in investment and wealth management, serving institutions, high-net-worth individuals, and retail investors worldwide.
As an Automation Test member within the Testing Team, you will strategize and lead manual and automation testing efforts across multiple projects to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency. You will partner with a team of 5–10 members and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely test outcomes and continuously improve testing processes. You will build and maintain automation capabilities across UI and API testing to enable scalable, repeatable quality assurance.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategize and drive manual and automation testing execution across projects.
- Perform end-to-end testing including functional, regression, and UAT cycles.
- Document UAT test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts with clear traceability.
- Build and maintain an automation suite using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.
- Execute API automation testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or REST API utilities.
- Publish governance data, testing metrics, and status reports to support decision-making.
- Train testers on standardized best practices and contribute to competency assessments.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree.
- Hands-on experience developing automation using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber.
- Strong understanding of TDD, BDD, and Shift Left testing concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor team members, troubleshoot errors, and communicate effective automated test solutions using MS Office for analysis and reporting.
Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities
- Experience leading automation testing teams and guiding QA delivery across projects.
- Working knowledge of Postman, SoapUI, or REST API testing approaches.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks, QA methodologies, and regression testing practices.
- Testing certification such as ISTQB or CSTE, with basic knowledge of Web/HTML.
