Sr Engineer-Industrial Product Design

Key Responsibilities

• User workspace design for Defence systems/equipment & Industrial System.
• Design for human factors (ergonomics)
• User experience design (user interface design) 
• Packaging and layout of complex engineering systems
• Design for assembly, manufacturing and maintenance
• Development of soft model and mock-ups for concept evaluation and refinement
• Coordination with Analysis and Engineering teams for optimization and detailing
• Collaborate with software teams for implementation of the User Interface
• Technical support to execution teams for manufacturing, integration and testing
• Technical support for field trials
• Recording of feedback from manufacturing, integration and testing phases for design improvement

Prior Experience required

• Design and development experience of a technology focused product

Key Skills: 

• Problem solving and conceptualization
• Good sketching and product visualization skills
• Proficient in 3D modelling and realistic rendering software tools
• Proficiency in image editing and graphic design software
• Sound knowledge of engineering basics such strength of materials, fluid dynamics etc is a plus
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
