Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires overseeing the development of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. Throughout the day, the lead monitors testing activities, manages defect resolution, and ensures that quality processes are effectively implemented to support the overall project goals. Collaboration with different teams and stakeholders is a key aspect to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement in quality assurance practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the quality engineering team to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veeva CRM.
- Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles and testing methodologies.
- Experience in developing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies.
- Ability to define and track key quality metrics including test execution and defect management.
- Familiarity with ecosystem integration and multi-disciplinary team collaboration.
- Skilled in managing defect resolution processes and ensuring timely delivery of quality outcomes.

Additional Information:

- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
